well I'm back again trying and figuring out very hard how to really use this after so long, times flies so does technology things are changing and evolving. its just annoying when people just remove you in Facebook for some kind of unknown reason? so the next time you login your Facebook you should just see if your friends had just removed you...

The sky has a limit.

React ? well i guess i was lucky and left with a profit. after all its just a coin stacking up to form a tower... no one expects this blood pool on friday to happen this fast but thursday was already a signal. if i was stubborn to let the greed took over my mind my saving would be wiped out by HALF... money in hand is never wrong. 

Conclusion, GREED is the emotions that kills everyone who will feel that money is enough i give you 1,2 or 3 sweet is it enough? will you be satisfied? Nope... human never feel contented because we are greedy, we want more. when we become satisfied and contended such thing will not happen.guess i really need to spend sometime to rethink there is a lot to learn from this incident.

got another interview but cockup instead late for 2hours should have done my location check first so hai... the good thing is i still manage to get a interview with the director... knowing i wun actually stand a chance after all i shake her hand and told her sorry i was late she smile and say np... but... you know first impression matters ...i directly asked her how was it after looking at my stuff ? really just curious where do i stand now...

1. your digital works look good (a relieve my works dont sucks.)
2. your development side i not so sure (im a designer, not a developer, can improve but basic shits i still knows.)
3. your print you show me a few (didnt do much on this well will boost more on this area.) the amount you're looking at i actually expect more ... well meaning want cheap labour.?

was 2am as usually my "standard" bedtime timing i couldn't sleep that day, i was writing my resume turning left and right flipping around i just cant shut my mind off to sleep... finally i doze off at 5am...

i just saw my annual review from my art director this year, was good 1 grade higher then last year but the increase was sight ~ it looks like i have to move on to somewhere else to develop my skill after all creative agency is where im looking for ogivily is where im going for =).

the battle

having to said so the battle continues for another day, obviously i didnt win in situation like that but i think i fought back and won my teammate respect, i give myself 90marks for this. people like to push the blame to each other and draw a line in cases like this when problem arise haha, maybe i didnt care about it much after all i know if i tender now my next pay will be at least 10% higher then this so do i care?.

however just like what chaim see tong did even he lost in bishan he won everyone's respect which is very remarkable and respectable. i realize i've grow up suddenly realizing i cannot always agree with what they say i have to voice out and fight for myself. lastly i still have my PRIDE as a designer.

Some talk and talk and talk but when you ask them will they take responsible for carrying out a particular task,
suddenly there's a deafening silence and you find the person ten feet away from you.

It's sad this has to be raised to the team thru this episode, but it's necessary to say it to everyone's face.
And I'll leave it to the driver of eNewsletters to decide how to manage or enforce this.
I'm not saying there will never ever be late submission.
There will be times when last minute stuff surfaces.

We can't control other people's actions.
If they choose to do only one check (or don't check every single sentence or link, etc) it's their choice.
If there's any cockup that is due to the person's neglience, they take accountability. Not you.

Aloysius does ask the team to check their respective areas twice.
Once at first draft, another time after test blast.

Meanwhile, designers do checks that fall under their responsibility.
And checking to ensure tracking code is inserted into the eNewsletter is one of them.

Don't be nice. Be firm.
Indicate the time you need to do your necessary check.
Do not because of last minute changes or submission caused you to skip your own checks.
Whoever submit late materials, they are responsible for causing the delay. Not you.
Tell OIC you cannot deliver final output in time because you need to do your own check.
If you are not given the time as you have already specified that is needed to check, ask the person will he take over your responsibility if errors occur.
If eBlast is delayed due to reason of late submission of materials, you are not responsible, the one who caused the delay is.
Never, never, skip your own checks, because you are accountable for them. Not others.
Don't let anyone say why you didn't do your checks.
You have every right to be given time to do your own checks.

Just to clarify for the rest, this email thread is NOT about Zhi Wei forgotten to check the tracking code in last month's eNewsletter...
